Completed a new driveway installation in Cork using the Castlestone range from Roadstone. The colours are the Curragh blend range. We removed the old driveway, extended the entire area. Opened up the front wall a bit to allow a bit more space. New base foundation and membrane sheeting laid on the driveway.
We put down a large block kerb as edging around the driveway which we sloped at the entrance. We made a multi toned entrance point to make it stand out a bit more. The left side of driveway we put down a low maintenance gravel bed laid. Here is a a bit more of an unusual patio installation. The customer chose the Old York Slate range which which installed as a patio surface. It is laid in three different sizes and set on a mortar bed. We put in a new base, added membrane sheeting and put down a mortar bed.
We put in new wooden fencing with gravels boards and concrete fence posts. The Old York was laid off a string line level to ensure a level, smooth finish as they are a very rippled slab.
